nice picture. I like nature things in 3d. Very good work in texturing the snail. SSS is well achieved. I found maybe the background a bit simple. but works
Hello, I’m from Brazil and I found your fantastic work. I have an animation project that involves just snails, like that you created. If interested to join this international team, please contact us. Maybe that way we can disseminate our work more intensively. Thank you.

Great work.
I remember this from blenderartist forum where you tried to find a render engine for this. Indigo was free back then.
So what engine did you decide to go with?
The background is blurred a bit to much, if you started DOF blur a bit earlier maybe it would not stand out so much.
@M. Goldman: If you could just provide me with a contact address I will mail you for further discussion. Or you can contact me direct through my site.
@AleksadnerK: Yes its a while now that I did this. For GI renders I will stick to luxrender for the time being. For all other stuff blender internal can give you great results too. For my current short film project definitely blender internal.

A fellow blenderhead called Jack-Jack informed me that the actual blend file for this project was in fact corrupted. It was missing some external data and didn’t render correctly.
Thanks to Jack-Jack for bringing this to my attention.
A new version is now uploaded to my site, which should work now correctly. You can download it directly from http://www.loramel.net/content/blends/forest_lowres.zip
I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
I want to quote your post in my blog. It can?
And you et an account on Twitter?
@ramblerru: yes you may, make sure the artist is given full credit though.
